EIS Needs Your Help!

The Children's Administration of Washington and Family Impact Network abruptly and unexpectedly terminated all In-Home, Professional Service and Parent Child Visitation contracts held by EIS "for convenience." Our  loved community agency in on the line.  We have closed our five client service Connection Place locations serving half of Washington from the Basin to Idaho, Oregon to Canada.  EIS was forced to lay off nearly all of our staff, though our agency has not had one contract compliance or corrective action in our extensive history of serving Washington State's most vulnerable families.

We ask for your input through this quick, anonymous survey as we need to illustrate the concerns and impact to our community.  Our legislature needs to hear from you.  It would be incredibly helpful for us to know what you think of our work with families as we navigate this painful and surprising process together. Please click link to our survey.

We began in 1999 and have grown into an alliance of two agencies that work together on behalf of children and families. Empowering, Inc is our non-profit agency whose mission is to promote, protect and preserve the inherent rights of children to learn through self directed play and rich experiential games and activities.  To learn more about EI and experiential learning, or if you are interested in volunteering, please visit the website.

Empowering Inc. Services, or EIS, is the sister agency to Empowering, Inc. It’s mission is to provide high quality, direct services and training to support the natural development of kind, gentle and safe home and community environments.

EIS is growing fast, and there are new positions opening up frequently.  Based in Spokane, our service area has expanded to include 20 Central Washington Basin and Eastern Washington counties, and we have just opened a new office in Moses Lake.

We encourage qualified professionals who are interested in working in Empowering, Inc. Services’ service area to send us your resume, even if there are currently no positions open. To view the types of positions and qualifications, see our list of positions.
